Askar Zhumagaliyev, Chairman of the Board of NAC Kazatomprom JSC, held a meeting with young innovators - employees of the Company's subsidiaries.
A new period in professional life begins for many of you. It is memorable that in the year of the 20th Anniversary of the Company, your unique ideas will get a start in life. Let it be the beginning of a new history. I believe, that by the next anniversary your innovations will fully work for the benefit of the nuclear industry, - Askar Zhumagaliyev said in the greeting.
Fifteen innovators from Semizbay-U LLP, DP-Ortalyk LLP, IVT LLP, RU-6 LLP and Central office of Kazatomprom participated in the meeting. The authors of innovations talked about their ideas on increasing the efficiency of production, reducing the cost of production. In particular, Aleksey Leksin from IVT LLP offered to apply nanofiltration in uranium extraction. This method increases the concentration of uranium and rare earth metals in productive solutions, which results in the significant reduction of the volume of reagents used, as well as energy consumption.
Zhamshidin Baynazarov and Zhiger Kenzhetayev from RU-6 LLP presented a project of a mobile installation for chemical well treatment. The Project allows to reduce the well repair cycle and save more than KZT 18 million annually only for chemical well processing.
Mirshat Mulukov from Semizbay-U LLP talked about the replacement of drainage devices of metal equipment with more durable, corrosion-resistant polymer materials. As a result of implementation of this proposal, the service life of pumping equipment in production multiplied.
Armanbek Omirgali from the Central Office of Kazatomprom informed his colleagues about the project on the implementation and introduction of modern advanced drilling rigs and technical means for drilling geological exploration and construction of technological wells. Daurzhan Iskakov presented an opportunity to optimize production indicators (unification of electricity rates for all enterprises of the Company).
During the event about two dozens of rational proposals for reducing the costs of chemical reagents, materials and energy resources used in uranium mining and processing were presented. Many of proposals already have been successfully introduced at the production facilities.
In total, since the beginning of 2017, more than 500 applications have been received from employees of Kazatomprom enterprises. The economic effect is expected to be over KZT 1 billion. In 2016, 1000 rational offers were received, the effect of which amounted to KZT 1.5 billion.
